Business development and market entry
Between commercial logic and cultural context.
This is not a translation of a presentation and not website localization. It is a decision about how the company enters the market.
Between commercial logic and cultural context
Entering a new market is an operation with a higher cost of error than it may seem from the outside. A Ukrainian company entering the EU and a European company entering Ukraine face the same problem in mirror image: the model that worked at home behaves differently in the new market.
Partnership networks, client logic, and the regulatory field are read differently. What used to be an advantage may become neutral or even a disadvantage.
When clients come with a request
- A Ukrainian company is preparing to enter a specific EU market and does not understand where its current logic will fail.
- A European company is entering the Ukrainian market and needs a local understanding of positioning.
- The partnership model was built earlier, does not produce the expected result, and needs revision.
- The company is preparing for negotiations with an international buyer, investor, or distributor.
- After success in one market, the company is scaling to a new territory.
What the work includes
A market-entry strategy that accounts for commercial, cultural, and regulatory context. Mapping key stakeholders: clients, partners, regulators, and industry associations. Negotiation positioning in an international context, building a partnership model and sector alliances.
Where needed, support for the first line of leadership in negotiations with international partners and institutional structures.
Result
Market entry with a thought-through position and a built partnership network. A negotiation position that matches the level of international counterparts. Understanding of the field not at brochure level, but at the level of working decisions.
